About us

Prestofiles (prestofiles.com) is a free collection of online tools for everyday file work. You can resize and compress images, prepare photos for forms and portals, merge, split and compress PDF files, convert between PDF and Word, and use a few small tools made for developers.

Why we built Prestofiles

Most people do not need heavy software. They need to make a photo smaller for a job application, shrink a CV to fit a portal limit, join two PDF files, or turn a Word file into a PDF. Doing this should take a minute, without installing anything, creating an account or paying. That is the idea behind Prestofiles.

Your files stay with you

Our image, PDF and developer tools run inside your browser. Your photos and documents are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to our servers. The Word tools (PDF to Word and Word to PDF) are the only exception. They need a server to do the conversion, so the file is sent securely, converted, and deleted right after.

What you can do here

• Resize, compress, rotate and convert images (JPG, PNG, WebP)
• Make a photo fit an exact size in pixels and kilobytes for forms and portals
• Compress, merge, split, rotate, number and watermark PDF files
• Convert PDF to images, images to PDF, PDF to Word and Word to PDF
• Convert JSON and CSV, encode Base64, and preview Markdown

Free, supported by ads

All tools are free to use, with no signup and no watermark on your files. To pay for hosting and development, we show advertising on the pages around the tools. Please read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy to see how advertising works.
