Why we publish

Prestofiles builds free tools for images, PDFs and documents. Our guides and tool pages exist to help you finish a task, for example making a photo small enough for an upload form.

How we write

We test each tool ourselves before we describe it. Sizes and steps that we give as examples, such as pixel sizes for photos, are common values and not official rules. We tell you to check the instructions of your form, office or employer before you submit a file.

Accuracy and updates

We review pages when a tool changes and when a reader reports a mistake. Pages show the date they were published or last updated. If you find an error, contact us and we will correct it.

Independence and advertising

Ads on this site come from third parties such as Google AdSense. Advertisers do not decide what we write. We do not accept payment to praise a product or to hide a problem.

Privacy of your files

Image and PDF tools run in your browser. We explain how we handle data in our Privacy Policy.
